Jackie Chan his birth name is Chan Khong sang. He is an actor and martial artist. He was born on April 7th, 1954 in Victoria Peak Hong Kong. His father's name was Charles and The mother's name was Lily Chan. His parents were the refugees from the Chinese Civil War and worked for the French ambassador in Hong Kong. 

                                                   EARLY LIFE 

In 1960 his dad was sent to Canberra Australia to work for the American Embassy, around this time he was sent to the Chinese Opera Research Institute in Hong Kong to be trained in music dance and traditional martial arts. In 1962, at the age of 8 along with the fellow mates from the performance group he appeared in the movie called big and little warmth invar. This led to his appearance in another movie next year called the love a tern.

Subsequently he kept making small appearances in movies like "coming and drink with me" and a touch of sin. He also had a brief stint as a stuntman in Bruce Lee films - "Fist of Fury" and "Enter the Dragon". At the age of 19 of every 1973, he got his first significant job in the film "little tiger of Canton" and afterward he featured in a satire film called "all in the family".

In 1976, he joined his family in Australia and began functioning as a development laborer, where he got the name, "Jackie". In 1983, he starred in the movie project day which included the dangerous stunt driven style of martial arts. This movie was declared as the winner of the best action design award at the third annual Hong Kong Film Awards. In 1985, he produced and directed as well as starting Police Story which was a Hollywood influenced action-comedy.

He formulated the Jackie Chan stuntmen association in the year of 1985. In 1987, he acted and directed the movie armor of God which became his biggest domestic success at the box office. He formed the production company called the 'golden way'.

He won the best actor award at the 2005 golden rooster Awards for the movie new Police Story in 2007. Rush Hour three grossed over 258 million u.s. dollars in which he starred with Roman Polanski.

In 2011, The Karate Kid was remade starring Chan and Will Smith's son Jaden Smith in it earning over three hundred fifty-eight million u.s. dollars. He received the butt-kicker award at the Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards in the year 2011, for this film the 100th movie of his career 1911 was released in 2011.

He is not just an actor but a martial arts film director-producer singer stunt director and performer. He started acting at the age of five, his father Charles was a spy for the Chinese Nationalist government his mother Lili was a stage performer who sold opium on the side because he was an energetic child.

He was nicknamed pow which means cannonball. He failed his first year in primary school Jacky was left in a boarding school, while the parents went to Australia in search of work.

He released 20 albums since 1984 and has performed vocals in Cantonese Mandarin Japanese Taiwanese and English, no company ensures him or his team. He pays it for himself and his stunt team. He once spent two days after a fight trying to push his bone back into his fists but later realized it was the other guy's tooth.

He won a Guinness World Record for most stunts by a living actor during armor of God. He was in an accident and has a permanent plastic plug in his skull. He once broke twelve concrete blocks with his hand while keeping the egg. He was holding intact he is a big fan of Charlie Chaplin Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd.

Jackie Chan
used to carry multiple guns and even a grenade to giving thumbs-up. His son will get none of his $130 million fortunes. He is a follower of the Buddhist religion he can speak many languages like Cantonese, Mandarin, English, German, Korean, etc.
